Pregnancy is one of the great journeys in life. A time filled with joy and anticipation, but also with questions, uncertainty and worries. We know how much a scan can mean, and how important it can be to get a clear answer and feel safe along the way.
That is why Stork Scan is built on three things:

We want you to leave the clinic with more calm and confidence than when you arrived. There should be room for questions, expectations and the feelings that come with expecting a child.
From experience we know that the questions can be many. That is why we take the time to explain what we see, and to make sure you feel well informed and reassured when you leave.
With us there is room for both the expectant mother and the loved ones she wants to share the experience with.

Josephine Frost
Josephine is the owner of Stork Scan and is responsible for the day-to-day running of the clinic as well as ultrasound scans. She is a sonographer with many years of experience in obstetric ultrasound and has worked in both specialist gynaecology practices and private scanning clinics. She has performed over 35,000 scans and has a particular focus on making the experience safe, clear and present for everyone in the clinic.
Student Midwife · Receptionist
Johanna Aida Andersen
Johanna is a receptionist and student midwife. She welcomes you at the clinic and makes sure you feel safe and comfortable. Among other things, Johanna helps with Stork Shape, our personal pregnancy figurines. She guides you through the options and carries out the 3D scan that forms the basis of your unique figurine. She also writes a number of our blog posts on topics such as pregnancy, birth and fertility.
A calm place in the middle of Copenhagen
When we were looking for the right place for Stork Scan, it mattered to us to create a clinic where you feel at ease – also before the scan itself begins.
At the same time, we wanted to be central. Our scans are often short, so it should be easy to drop by – even if you are on a break from work or have an appointment in town.
When we went to see the premises on Nørre Voldgade, we happened to come from the other side of H.C. Ørstedsparken. We walked through the park, over Frederik VII's Bridge and on to the building. That little walk through H.C. Ørstedsparken and over the bridge helped sell the place to us almost as much as the beautiful, listed building and the rooms we ended up choosing.
In many ways, H.C. Ørstedsparken is also a fitting image of what we want to be as a clinic: a small breathing space in the middle of the city. A place with room to pause, be present and take a moment for yourself when you are in the middle of one of life's big experiences.
