With a 3D/4D scan you get up close to your baby: the little nose, the lips, small movements and expressions – as detailed images and on video. For many it is a way of bonding with the baby before you hold them in your arms. The best time is usually between week 25 and 33, and we help you choose the right moment.

Frequently asked questions
When is the best time?
Week 28 is the best time for most people. Before week 25 the face is still thin, and the images rarely come out very charming. After week 33 the baby is pressed against the wall of the womb, and there is less amniotic fluid in front of the face to "see through". If you are expecting twins, come a little earlier, because there is less room.
What is the difference between the small and the large 3D/4D scan?
The time, and what comes with it. The small one is 30 minutes at DKK 1,100. The large one is 45 minutes at DKK 1,500 and includes a free rescan if the images do not come out clearly. If you want to be sure of good images, the large one is the safe choice.
What is the difference between 3D and 4D?
3D is a still image of the face with depth. 4D is that same image in motion – in other words, video. You get both.
Can we bring family?
Yes, you are very welcome to. There is room for a partner, siblings and grandparents – and children are very welcome.
