Before I
was born
There is a time no one can remember, and that never comes again: the time spent close beneath a mother's heart, when mother and child were one. That is the time this portrait captures – a memory from before your child came into the world. Before I was born.
Your child's very first portrait, created digitally from your 3D scan and printed in high quality. After the scan you pick the images you like best, and we work them into the style you choose — clear rendering, watercolour or charcoal. The portrait is ready for collection within two weeks.
Three styles – the same moment
After the scan you pick the images you like best and the style that suits your home.
Clear renderingWe take the images from your scan that you like best and work on them digitally. Light, contrast and background are adjusted until the face stands out clearly, and the image is prepared for print.Premium photo paper
WatercolourThe scan interpreted as a watercolour. The contours stay soft, the colours are laid in transparent layers, and the light is allowed to flow out at the edges, so the face emerges rather than stands sharp.Thick art paper
CharcoalThe scan interpreted as a charcoal drawing. The darkness around it turns deep and calm, and the face is built from pale strokes, so it steps out of the background almost like a relief.Thick off-white art paper
