Clear rendering
We take the images from your scan that you like best and work on them digitally. Light, contrast and background are adjusted until the face stands out clearly, and the image is prepared for print.
Premium photo paper
Watercolour
The scan interpreted as a watercolour. The contours stay soft, the colours are laid in transparent layers, and the light is allowed to flow out at the edges, so the face emerges rather than stands sharp.
Thick off-white art paper
Charcoal
The scan interpreted as a charcoal drawing. The darkness around it turns deep and calm, and the face is built from pale strokes, so it steps out of the background almost like a relief.
