Yes. The confirmation email you receive when booking contains links to both move and cancel your appointment, so you can do it at any time – no phone call needed. Cancellation is only possible up to 24 hours before your appointment.

Yes, you are very welcome to bring your partner, a family member or a friend – and more than one is fine.

Yes, absolutely. Children and siblings are always very welcome to join – there is plenty of room, and for many it is a wonderful experience to see their future little brother or sister on the big screen. There is no need to worry about bringing them.

We aim for short waiting times and usually have available appointments within the current week. The calendar in the online booking always shows the actual available times.

You take printed images home, and images and video clips are transferred via QR code directly to your phone while you are at the clinic.

Yes – with us you are always scanned by a woman.

It depends on the type: most scans take 15–30 minutes, the small 3D/4D lasts 30 minutes and the large 3D/4D 45 minutes. There is always plenty of time set aside, so you can enjoy the experience calmly.

The scan requires no special preparation. At an early scan before week 10 the scan is usually performed vaginally, and an empty bladder is best. For abdominal scans it is up to you whether you empty your bladder before the scan – it makes no difference to us.

The clinic is centrally located by Nørreport. There is paid street parking along Nørre Voldgade, as well as the QPark parking facility at Nørreport Station. If you come by electric car, there are charging bays close to the clinic where you can park free for 3 hours on weekdays during the day, as long as the car is charging. If you come by public transport, Nørreport Station is only a few minutes' walk away.

Yes – the entire visit can be conducted in English, and the website is also available in English.

Early scan DKK 450, reassurance scan DKK 500, gender scan DKK 600, small 3D/4D DKK 1,100, large 3D/4D DKK 1,500 and "Head up or down?" DKK 550. All prices are also shown for each service in the online booking.

You pay at the clinic when you arrive for your appointment – nothing is paid online when booking.

Yes – the Basic package at DKK 1,700, the Standard package at DKK 3,100 and the Deluxe package at DKK 4,400, which includes the large 3D/4D scan. The packages combine several scans at a bundled price.

Yes – a gift card for a scan is a lovely present for expectant parents. It is ordered on this site and sent directly by email.

Yes. In the add-on step of the booking you can choose extra images (DKK 50), extended scan time, gender reveal accessories and a large A4 print of your most beautiful 3D image. If you think of something on the day, it can usually be arranged at the clinic too.

Some health insurance policies subsidise scans at private clinics, but the rules differ from company to company. Check your policy or ask your insurer – we will of course issue a receipt you can submit.

We offer early scans from week 5+0. A heartbeat can be seen from week 6+0 at the earliest. Up until week 10+0 the scan is usually performed vaginally, because that gives the best image quality so early.

Gender scans are offered from week 15 (14+0) all the way to birth. From week 15, determining the sex by ultrasound is very reliable when the baby is lying so we can see clearly – and if we are in any doubt, we say so rather than guess. We give a sex guarantee: if the sex cannot be seen on the day, you get a free rescan.

Heartbeat, movements, growth via measurements, estimated weight, amniotic fluid volume and the position of the placenta – an overall check that everything is progressing as it should.

A short scan from week 34 that confirms your baby's position before birth. If the baby is breech – bottom or feet down instead of head down – we of course guide you on the next steps. The price is DKK 550.

Yes – we have extensive experience with twins and set aside extra time for the scan. Twins can be seen as early as week 5.

Yes. A fertility scan measures follicles and endometrial thickness, among other things, and helps you know the optimal time for pregnancy. It is available with or without an electronic record – e.g. for your fertility clinic.

Yes, ultrasound scanning is considered safe in all trimesters. It uses sound waves – not X-rays.

Early in pregnancy usually yes, because the image is much clearer. It does not hurt. Up to week 10 the scan is normally done vaginally for the best image quality – from week 10 we scan on your abdomen. If you would rather avoid it, just say so. For cervix and fertility scans we measure vaginally, because it is the only way to get precise numbers. You are always scanned by a woman.

Yes. At an early scan we measure the baby and give a preliminary due date. You can also use our due date calculator under "Week by week" on this site.

No. Our scans are a reassuring supplement to the public programme – the nuchal translucency scan around week 12 and the anomaly scan around week 20 – and do not replace them.

A measurement of the length of the cervix. It can be relevant if you have previously given birth prematurely, or if a shortened cervix is suspected. Above 25 mm is generally considered normal before week 24; below that you are followed more closely, without the number in itself being a prediction. The scan is performed vaginally, takes under a minute and can be booked directly online.

There is no set limit – ultrasound is considered safe in all trimesters, and many expectant mothers are scanned several times both with us and in the public system.

Our sonographer calmly and honestly explains what we see, and we make sure you are referred on to the hospital if needed. You are never left alone with a result.

2D is the classic black-and-white images, 3D gives detailed still images in colour, and 4D is 3D in motion – a little film of your baby.

Between week 25 and 33 – the optimal time is around week 28, when the face is filled out and there is still room to move.

The small one lasts 30 minutes and costs DKK 1,100; the large one lasts 45 minutes, costs DKK 1,500 and includes a free rescan if needed. Both include printed 3D colour images, black-and-white images and video clips via QR code.

Your baby's position matters a lot for 3D images. With the large 3D/4D and the Deluxe package a free rescan is included if we cannot obtain clear images.

Yes! With the gender scan you can add a large gender reveal balloon, a confetti cannon or scratch cards, so you can reveal the sex exactly as you wish – or get the answer in a sealed envelope.

Your baby's position, the amount of amniotic fluid and the position of the placenta matter most. If the baby is facing your back, we try small changes of position – and with the large 3D/4D a free rescan is included if we cannot obtain clear images.

NIPT Standard (DKK 3,200) and NIPT Pro (DKK 4,300) from LifeGenomics, plus Evita Test Complete (DKK 14,500) from Danish Arcedi Biotech. All are blood samples from the mother and can be taken from week 10+0.

Standard screens for trisomy 21, 18 and 13 plus the sex chromosomes. Pro additionally covers other trisomies and 92 microdeletion and duplication syndromes, including DiGeorge – the broadest panel on the market.

Evita isolates whole fetal cells from the mother's blood – not just loose DNA fragments – and analyses all 23 chromosome pairs. The result is always reviewed by a clinical geneticist, sex determination is included, and results are sent after approx. 12 working days. The test is taken in week 10+0 to 14+6.

NIPT results arrive after approx. 9 working days, Evita after approx. 12. The result is sent to the clinic, our sonographer calls you, and the result is then shared with you by email.

In a small number of samples there is not enough fetal DNA. In those cases a new blood sample is offered free of charge – after that, only about 2% of samples cannot be completed.

We call you and go through the result with you, and we arrange a referral for further fetal diagnostics at the hospital, so you are not left alone with the result.

We always recommend an early scan together with the genetic test. The blood sample tells you about the chromosomes – the scan shows the heartbeat and that the pregnancy is where it should be. It can be added directly in the booking for DKK 450.

Yes – both NIPT and Evita include sex determination if you wish. If you would rather wait to know the sex, just let us know and it will be left out of the result.

Yes. An urgent scan is a same-day appointment at DKK 1,100 that is squeezed in between the other scans – so there are usually urgent times left even on days that are otherwise fully booked. Book online or call +45 93 92 64 41.

A pregnancy sculpture: your bump and body are 3D-scanned at the clinic and cast into a figure – a lasting memory of your pregnancy. From DKK 3,199, ready after 5 weeks.

It is perfect if you are between 32 and 36 weeks pregnant – that is when the bump shows most clearly. Earlier or further along is no problem at all: we can scan you for as long as you are pregnant.

The scan itself takes only about 10 minutes and is done without clothing, so the body's shape is captured precisely in 3D. Each figure is then finished by hand and shipped free of charge to your door.

Five colours – Nordic Chalk, Deep Charcoal, Soft Sand, Amber Glow and Warm Copper – in sizes from 15 to 25 cm, with or without arms.

Yes – if you have a plaster belly cast from before, we scan both it and you and create a Stork Shape from it (+DKK 350).
