Frequently asked questions
When is the best time?
From week 15 (14+0) and for the rest of the pregnancy. With twins the pregnancy is followed more closely in the public system than with one baby, but many still find there are long gaps between check-ups. Weeks 20 to 26 are when people most often come. We measure both babies separately, so you can follow them one by one and see how they compare.

Yes. Both babies are measured and weighed separately, and you get the heartbeat and the figures for both – so you can follow them one by one all the way.
Why does it take longer?
Because two babies each have to be lying well, and because everything has to be measured twice. That is why extra time is set aside for you.
Can I have both a reassurance scan and a gender scan for twins?
